@DavidBlue I think to the local server at first -- we don't have a seamless way for people to sign up for just Snap.as right now (unless they're already paying for Write.as). But would def like to support that in the future!

it might be too much to knock out in a week. there are issues like user quotas, server config for uploading bigger files, etc.

let's see if we can get image uploads in @writefreely v0.16 😬

if anything, could get some basics in -- custom avatars and uploading via the classic browser. but not sure how the management UI is going to work out

Another update in upcoming @writefreely v0.16: Archive pages! This makes it easy to see a full list of all posts you've ever made on your blog, sorted by year.

On a roll today, and have one last little treat coming on @write_as today 😊

They mostly involve bringing #WriteFreely into parity with #Writeas. The goal is to have all features available in WF by v0.17!

Okay, got the #fediverse side of things working. The publishing and rendering side of #WriteAs / #WriteFreely really is a mess. Needs a major refactor

Finishing up a new integration on @write_as (announcing soon), and looking at our cross-posting usage. It's really fallen off -- only 4 posts sent out this year. I think the feature made the most sense when Twitter was around.

A lot of regular maintenance today -- fixed up some things with deployment and did some issue triage for @writefreely.

Thinking about free accounts on @write_as again... 🤔
